Health Care Admin

UCW Academy of Health offers several programs in Health Care Administration. These health care diploma programs prepare students for employment in a variety of work environments including private medical practices, clinics, and hospitals. Students begin with classes in information processing, learning Microsoft Word and Excel programs, keyboarding, and information processing before moving onto basic business procedures. Technical skills in medical terminology, human anatomy, and medical machine transcription are taught in later phases of the diploma program. Students will also participate in mandatory practicums, allowing them to apply their education in real-world scenarios.
